For over three decades, FOX has been an industry leader in the design and development of high performance shock absorbers and racing suspension products for snowmobiles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, off-road cars, and SUVs.

In 1974, Bob Fox started racing his products in motocross and they haven’t stopped racing since. FOX equipped vehicles and racers have stood atop podiums in every sport they have competed in from the sands of Baja to the dunes of Dakar.

The Fox team of engineers perform rigorous tests with athletes year round. The data we collect from performance testing and our application of that knowledge to our product is what separates FOX from every other suspension company.

In 2005 Motorite Racing took on the South African Off Road Racing Championship and we have gone on to win seven Championships – five with Fox Shox. We design and build our cars in house and have won five of those championships in the first year with each respective race car.

Off Road Racing is a hard and extreme sport where vehicles are tested to their limits, we have had various breakdowns and failures over the years yet we have never had a failure with our Fox Shox.

In 2009 FOX proprietary internal by-pass technology is spec’d on the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, proving that they are good enough for a Global Corporation as big as Ford to put their name behind Fox Shox.

Fox Shox now offers a wide range of performance Shox to the 4×4 and SUV range of vehicles here in Southern Africa. With the rough conditions experienced on our off road adventures it’s the perfect match, finally a shock that can stand up to the rigors of the African conditions.

Fox are a racing based, product driven company who don’t limit that winning, performance driven attitude to just the race course. It happens everyday within FOX. And really, that’s the reason the products come out the way that they do.
